Fished from the lower boundary of FFO up to big rocks and back. Only managed on rainbow (15") right at big rocks. I was fishing IPW exclusively all afternoon. Water was high and slightly off color(green) but not silty. No water temp taken, but air temp was at 29F. Light snow falling with no wind made the afternoon a great way to scratch an itch.

I skipped the long stretch of riffles and walked up to big rocks to fish first...mistake. The most accessible water was in the lower riffles. By that time I was cold and running short on time so I didn't work this riffles to their potential. I was nervous around the deep water near the big rocks because of ice and cold and fast water.

Just a side note - Sipe is bad luck. I still haven't caught a fish with him. 🙂

Though, it was a beautiful day all around. Great time to be out on the water with the snow falling and everyone else watching the SuperBowl.

Raft man speaks the truth. The man has been published in the Drake...yet has never been witnessed with a fish.
