Muddy Creek FFO, York County, 11/25/2016

Fished from about 11am til dark. Air temp reached the low 50s with no wind. Water low and clear, with little drift.

Started out drifting a multi-fly rig through the likely areas and had some cooperative rainbows early and late.Caught fish on small nymphs (#22s), streamers and buggers and at the end eggs were the ticket. Could hardly tell when the fish had the flys, subtle takes. All fish to hand were rainbows. Some nice sized stockies.

With hunting season starting Monday I'd stay clear of the upper and middle fly area for a week or so. lots of stands in the trees.

Almost went there Monday to fish but then quickly remembered it was St. Antler's Day and opted for the Breeches instead. Thanks for taking such awesome care of your water there! Had an awesome time a few weeks ago there with the biggest Brown of my life so far and a handful of the stockie Bows. I think I have bought 5-6 of your buttons at the General Store in Brogue since this summer for friends and myself. Such a rad idea for a keepsake/fundraiser!
