Did you post about the deer under your previous screen name or your current one....I cant remember, lol. Anyway, I really appreciate the Muddy Creek watershed for what it is. There are several places where no road parallels the stream for miles. The angler who hikes or wades a few miles is rewarded with seclusion and excellent scenery. I don't mean to turn this into a pissing match, but I take offense when someone berates such nice stream. You can fish the bridge pool, the hemlocks, the upper fly area and the forks (the usual spots) all you want. I will continue to explore the remaining miles of the watershed that I have not yet seen. I COULD CARE LESS IF YOU CATCH MORE FISH THAN ME. Rather, I enjoy how dynamic the stream is and all of it's tributaries, which provide thermal refuge for all the wild and stocked trout throughout its length.
