Fished the stretch by the Sportsmans' Club for a couple hours in the AM. Had multiple takes on a size 14 caddis but couldn't seal the deal. To my surprise, got a 18 inch golden to rise to the caddis, set the hook and did the long release. Tons of fish there, I just didn't have my A game. Stream conditions should be really good for nymphing with the rain that we've had. Lots of people out by the Sportsmans club as there were a few dams that they constructed this year which are creating nice plunge pools on the downstream sides.
