Hit the Mono on Wed and Thur. Wed I got there at 3 pm and had good action until 5 pm. There were little brown stones, midges and bwo's. Caught fish on a stimulator, bwo emerger and cripple patterns. Thur I got there earlier at 1230 pm and had action until 430 pm, the temp was dropping as the day progressed. Got most of the action on bwo cripples on Thur. There were more bugs out on Wed. than Thur.

It was great to find some working fish and good action. If I don't get out on Sat. I won't feel so bad.

So, was that you Jersey?

What size were you using?

18 and 16 were working. No joisey for me.

As per PM, then you must've jumped my spot before the ground got wet, because I left there at just about when you were rolling in.

I enjoyed that long glide pool right at Bridal Path from about 9:30 til 12, and they were just becoming more and more fiesty on top, but ignored every variation of BWO, midge, and..OK, that was it.. But htey ignored all the important ones I threw at them.

A few took the boring subsurface numbers, sigh.

Depending on conditions, I might be down there trying the same nonsense tomorrow afternoon. I forgot I had a couple of winged wets to try, so I suppose that's it then.

Stupid fish.
