Fished Illick's Mill Park from 9:15 till 11:05. Air 60, water 50. Water green and up. A few midges, caught two small wild browns while trying my hand at "euro" nymphing. Both hit this:
think a clouser minnow, stone fly and woolley bugger had a three way. size 10 2xl i think.
Clouser's woolley stone? Anyway its proof that there are two really stupid fish in this stream cause I managed to catch 'em.
Thanks to George Daniel for submitting the article on the front page, it got me thinking about using larger fly's than I'm used to, worked out this time.
