El skunk-o both days. Stream looks good. Lots of midges and some sporadic rises. That's about it.

we must've been in different parts. ran into daryl as well. i did better. man that place has changed since the floods.

I chose a spot that had a chance at divine intervention, although it appears fishing is on the long list of things i suck at.

We were all in the park area.

I never have much enjoyment where you're at. The bald guy who drives the Jeep SUV and plays Indian drum music tells me the native Lenape believed there's a portal between teh worlds there.

That's where the fish go.

Ahhhhh, Ol' "Dances with Alligators". Last time I saw him, he was complaining of recurring nightmares. In one, he's a teepee, in the other, a wigwam.

I told him he's too tense.

There's a legit chance you actually do know the guy I'm talking about, as he's always around. Its actually really chill to go walking down into the sanctuary area and have teh smell of his sage hit you, you turn a corner and he's back up in the trees doing tai-chi.

I'll mock alot of people for doing alot of weird stuff, but that dude just really sets the tone for things sometimes. I came up on him under one of the pavillions in teh park doing it in the middle of a rainstorm, and while it was fishless, it was still cool.

Gospel bands. Bad teenage angst rock. Wedding photo takers. Aging hippie. Doding tubers. I always enjoy this hell out of going there in the summer. Except jackholes in my backcast. Someday I'm gonna nail someone in teh face. I might regret it.

Honestly, its the goings on that make me enjoy fishing in the park proper.

Speaking of interesting people. There is a guy who fishes the Saucon and never wears waders and fishes from the banks. Real nice man but to talk to him, you would think the entire world is evil. Do you guys know who this is? Did someone do him wrong?

I have the opposite experience as you, never do much in the Park. I saw lots of fish but they weren't moving. Bastages. If the rain holds off the next day or two should be pretty good. Gonna try again tomorrow, maybe.

I know exactly who you mean and try to avoid him like the plague. The way he tells it he is responsible for all the good stuff that has been done to the Saucon and everyone else is running it down. I saw him casting from the wall - about 6' above the creek - down at the park and getting into arguments with guys wading. Extremely strange fellow.

Man, I must be doing it wrong because I never see anything back there.. Then again, I always start with best intentions, but risers in that glide by the bridge suck up too much of my resources.

Al's rat in tandem with orange hot spot pt did quite well today. Caught a some on size 24 black thread with grizzly hackle dry as well. Also counted 3 redds. Saw a guy carrying a nice brown a with stick through it's gills. Took me an hour to get the 11 miles back home gotta love Lehigh Valley traffic.

ahh the rat. I met Al many times on the LL and learned a few good tricks from him. Nice guy. I did try that the other day and got no love. Most likely operator error. As I stated in my original post, I suck at fishing.

The guy on the wall is Danny. He is a real character that I avoid like the plauge. Argumentive and acts like he owns the creek.

Where and when can I find danny?

I ran into that dude one day. He's nothing compared to the Green Jeep guy on Valley.

Danny drives an older black Blazer. I have had a few run ins with him. Definately not stable. Avoid him like the plauge!

I saw the guy on Valley drop to his knees and hold his arms out like he was going to be struck down when another angler walked by. Started screaming get away, your're going to break my rod, etc. Dude is nuts...
