Monocacy (4/28)

Fished the Monocacy Saturday from Birdle Path to Illick's. Caught an even dozen but all were 4-5 inches (cute, but more in keeping with small streams in Tioga ). They seemd to like a GRHE in a #12. The water temp was 52. I was wondering if the drop in water temp from the heavy rain and the bright sky might have had the larger fish tight to the bottom. Anyway, beautiful day.
