I was heading home from school today and stopped by the bridge on Rock Road and saw a bunch of trout. I bagged the gym and first hit Hammer on Clay Road. That bridge pool is pretty big. I saw a couple trout and caught a few fallfish. Lots of fish down deep but probably mostly suckers. I next went to Middle and parked on Middle Creek Road I fished down to Limerock and up a bit from where I parked. I didn't catch a trout. I caught a couple nice sunnies on dries amidst the occasional rising trout. Green weenies and buggers drew occasional interest. There were fish that rose occasionally and others up in the water column. Plenty of trout left and they are all still there. Some midges and the occasional caddis. I bet if I stayed until dark there would have been some action on top. The stream is low. I fished from 4-6 in bright sunshine and 88 degree temps. I didn't get a stream temp but it still felt pretty cold.

Any fall fish in that stretch? I have always thought below the lake there might be a nice spot to target em.

I have caught redbreasts there on dries, its fun

I once caught a gigantic smallmouth in the bridge pool.

See post. I did catch a couple. Both I thought were trout. Lower Middle and Hammer are polluted with them.
