Took my daughter (6) to the section below Lincoln. The water temp was 61* at 1pm. We fished from 1-3pm and managed two hookups on generic sliver bead brown colored nymph. The water was slightly up and murky but not chocolate milk. This was a great first outing for her on moving water.

Fished from 1030-2. Day started overcast and cleared towards mid day. The water conditions were similar to the prior day. I started well below Lincoln Rd and worked some of the slower water with a dry dropper and managed a few. I then tryed other pull offs up stream. Around 130 some risers started. The splashy rises indicated they were taking some type of emerger. The fish were moving 4-5 ft from cover to get the emergers. I have no idea what they were taking. I did observe some black caddis, ants, and maybe a sulphur or two. I'm unsure on the sulphur but it was a 1" pale yellow mayfly.
Overall I had a good session managed 10 on a slew of different patterns. I did complete the brown, brookie, bow stocked fish trifecta. If I had more time I'd have probably put a few more in the net. The funniest to me was getting high holed by a cow and later by a mule. Lancaster Co fishing problems 🤷
