I fished from about 8-11 AM. It was a cool night and the water felt cold. It was still slightly cloudy from rain the other day. It was perfect bugger color. There were already 2 cars at Lincoln Road and surprisingly 2 at Lime Rock so I went 2 the twin bridges. Missed one below the falls below the second bridge. Took a short walk upstream and missed 2 and then finally caught one from the same spot. It was about 11 and I'm pretty sure was wild. It came off before I could snap a picture. I fished all the way up to Rock Road through water I never fished before. I caught 1 wild right as the meadow starts on Rock Road and finished with a stocker brown a short distance down from Rock Road. It was a beautiful morning! I probably missed 1/2 dozen others. I am sure at least 1 I missed was another wild.
A couple observations. I never fished this area before and am convinced these are not Segloch Fish for a number of reasons. One is the number caught. While not a ton, enough to convince me that these are not transient fish from the Seglock. The stream has been hammered. Others must be catching fish as well. Secondly. wouldn't they already be headed home by this time. Finally, I'll post a picture of the dam on the creek near where the spring runs in on Burkholder Run. It is huge and I doubt there is much if any fish that would run this dam.
There are a couple places where Middle is backed up with dams. These areas hold back large amounts of water and contain deep and fairly slack water. They cannot be doing the creek any favors. The picture I'm posting is the the largest but I'm now caught natives above and below all the dams. Sorry no pics and no temps. I'll also post yet another pic of yet another spring downstream from the big one on rock road.

Here are the pics of the spring and the dam.

I've never fished the section at twin bridges. Looks like I should some time. I really enjoy 2 spots right a rick road. I hit them every time I go out just before dark.
