Fished the DHALO section of Meadow Run on Friday (6/3). The morning was cooler than its been and it was a bluebird sky all day. The water still seems quite cool, but I neglected to check my thermometer.
Still a good amout of fish in the Run, but they do seem to be schooled up in the deeper/slower water, as the water levels are dropping. I did not try to fish any riffle/pocket water, so I'm not sure if the fish are in the faster water as well.
Noticed some bugs sporadically coming off in the morning, but not as much as the day progress. I did see a Green Drake spinner floating down stream...probably from the night before.
Fished nymphs and soft hackles with success until I began to see an occasional fish rise. For dries I used Ants, Grey/Black Caddis, Royal Wulff, and Para-Sulphurs. All in size 16. The Parachute Sulpher was the best bet that day.
