Caught 11 trout from about 9am until 4 from the bridge down to flat rock. The water was up a bit from the last time and just a bit off color. Most of the fish were taken on nymphs but i suprisingly caught a large brown in a riffle on a dry. Lots of bug action but didnt see any feeding on top. I bet the after work crowd had a good nite closer to dark. They were spread throughout the creek as i caught fish all the way down. We did try some spots above the bridge but there were several bait fisherman in that area limiting out so we moved on to the delayed harvest area. We also decided to walk up what i believe to be laurel run. It is a very pretty tributary but appears to be polluted. Anyone know anything about it? Appears to be amd but it didn't appear to be as severe as many others ive seen in fayette county. its a shame because it would make a beautiful brookie stream.

Temp was 77 degrees and partly cloudy
No idea on the water temp
Water was just slightly off color

Laurel Run has AMD problems. It is currently being treated with limestone which explains the milky tint often seen to the water coming into Meadow. It's a good thing. The water delivers a shot of cool water and helps the fish to hold over during hot weather.
