A good friend and I fished Meadow Run(Fayette) this morning. Neither of us landed any fish, but there were still a few around. Did see a lot of stonefly shucks on the rocks, especailly above the cascades. Two different kinds, one was a size 8 or 10 and the other was a 14. Some sporadic mayflies, but not really noteworthy. To those that fish this water from time to time, the high water a couple of weeks ago has changed the big hole at bottom of the trail that starts at the parking lot. That big tree that divided the hole now sits atop the large boulders at the end of it. It's an awesome display of Mother Nature's power!!!

PS.. Also saw two very large carp in one hole. Both were 30+ inches!!!!
