Fished Medow Run yesterday. Water was low low low and gin clear. Arrived at the stream at 7am and fished till noon. The fish were skittish. All were holding in the deeper pockets and pools. Fished up from the Yough to the slides. Had the stream to myself for an hour. A couple of guys showed up. They were nice enough but jumped right into the pools I was fishing. They also were lining the fish like crazy. Then two other guys showed up and it was all over. I started up stream at that point and ran into a sparce BWO hatch. A picked up a few on a BWO spinner that Tom Gamber tied for the last swap. Thanks Tom. Air temps stayed in the 40ies all morning. I did not take the stream temp.

I drove over to dunbar in the afternoon and it was a trickle. A couple of guys were fishing the dams, but it was like fishing in a bucket. I packed up and left.

All in all not a bad day. I am really disappointed in the water flows for this time of year. It's like fishing in July. My favorite streams in Tionesta area are the same. For some reason I just do not like fishing the low flows. Anyway..........
