Decided to try out one of these Keystone Select Waters on a day off Friday. Met with cold and blustery conditions, nothing new for the winter, I mean spring of 2018.

Fishing was slow but steady, picking up 3 of the trophy rainbows, and 8 other normal size stockies. All fish came on a pink squirmy wormy.

Had to pleasure to meet Opie610 from the boards here. Shot the breeze with him for quite a while. Hope you hit a few in the hole I left you in.

I fished that a few weeks ago. I caught 6, some of those fish have some serious color to them. Absolutely beautiful. I saw a brown in there I thought was a carp. Huge.

They were beautifully colored fish for sure! Hands were a little too numb to get a picture.

Also a pleasure to talk with you Steliejim. Yes I did catch 4 after chatting with you Although nothing big. But I made the trip back up again today because I wanted to check out the upper end of the DHALO. Boy am i glad i did. I arrived at daybreak and found what looked like a good hole. Caught a couple around 13 inches on a glow bug. Then switched to a slumpbuster streamer and landed 3 monster rainbows and broke another one off.
After 9:00 I drove town to the bottom end by the golf course and caught 3 more smaller fish. All and all it was an awesome weekend although it was quite a bit more crowded today than it was on Friday. But that's to be expected.
