I was invited to fish on a friend's boat on Friday on Marsh Creek Lake. For some reason the water was higher than normal and it was a little murky but we had a great time. My friend was spin fishing and caught 5 or 6 and I was fishing big deer hair poppers. I caught two and had a blast! I love watching them come to the surface for the flies! Here is a pic of my best one. It was just shy of 15" and was a good fight. Red and white was really the only color working.

Nice. I don't know whats more exciting, a trout slowly rising to take(or reject) your dry, or a bass smashing a popper!

Nice bass! Looks like the weeds are not too bad yet, at least in that shot.

There were a few spots that they were really frustrating. It was like rope and would get all tangled on the prop. Most of my flies only have one weedguard line. Might have to try tying in two.
