Fished the mighty Manada today after work in the DHALO section, stream was clear and running well, caught 4 total, 1 on a deer hair nymph and put a green wooly bugger on around sunset that the fish kept nailing, one nice one around 18". My old man had a ton of hits on a black wooly also.

Any out of the "dog hole"?

yeah had a couple hits on the nymph early there and then got one around dark with the wooly bugger. Caught the big one bout 100 yards upstream at the big long hole. The old man had all the hits just downstream from the dog hole. We're heading back out tonite to hit the area downstream of the bridge on 443.

I saw a dude almost get jacked up by the dog, which I call "fluffy", one day a few years ago. He was like "I'm just gonna walk right by it, what's it gonna do"? Hehe never underestimate the dog. Oddly enough, I think ol' fluff knows me these days. He stops barking and lays down if I talk to him. I'll still never try to run by on that side of the creek, though. Crazy dog.
