Fished in the wet today from Eddie Reher's down about 100 yards or so. Took 5 fish all rainbow's all on a size 8 green crystal bugger. Missed 3 more.. heh. Saw some mayflies on the water and after closer inspection I could have swore they were Quill Gordons.. they sure looked like them anyhow.. they were size 14. It's pretty early for them though isn't it? Maybe I was just seeing another form of beatis but, I feel like they weren't.
On the drive home I saw a pretty big flock of turkeys across from penn national, spring turkey!
