[Dont-fish-enough]

Fished the lower end of the DH area from the bridge up. Took a number on bh san juan. All stocked rainbows. Had a number of hard strikes on a black bugger under logs and trees. Took a couple more rainbows and a small brown. Missed a few too. Water level was good and some nice holes.

Very nice fish! I was there as well, but I spent more time with nymphs in the trees than in the water

I believe me an gorosaurus ( sorry if I spelled it wrong)(Jason)stopped an chatted with you a bit. I was showing him around the area. I managed to land 1 rainbow an missed 3-4 more.

Yeah, nice talking with you. Did you have the same issue with them not commiting to the buggers? That was unusual. Very hard strikes and fish on for a few seconds and then gone. Missed a few. They usually land themelves when stripping up.

Is there any other part of that stream worth fishing? I went up and parked on he main road and fished up a ways. Took a nice rainbow on a crackle back but water is very hard to fish.

Yup had the same problem. They seemed to be not closing there mouth on it. The section of DHALO is fairly good a few nice holes and runs. Above the 443 bridge is tough going. A lot of skinny water with a few pools and runs. The good thing about up that way is there is more wild browns to be caught. Im going out tonight above the 443 bridge.
