Took my triplet nieces and nephew out to catch bluegills this afternoon. The fish took tan caddis and red zebra midge pupa, but then again they would have taken almost anything.

We watched the kids all weekend. They enjoyed watching "Monster Fish" with me Friday night.

Is the shoreline at Mammoth pretty clean? I heard that Dunlap shoreline is covered with goose crap these days. It is a shame if that is the case because it used to be a nice place for kids to fish. I want to take my son but he needs some room to run around once his attention span is used up. I would prefer him to not have to run around in goose crap. I hadn't thought of Mammoth.

Mammoth is pretty clean, though you won't have to look to hard to find some goose droppings. They open the park to hunting every fall and that has cut way down on the resident nuisance population.
