I took my daughter out for opening day. We had a nice time drowning Powerbait together. She caught 3 fish to my 2, and she caught the biggest fish too (15 inch rainbow). Not bad for three hours fishing. The atmosphere at the lake was nice. There were lots of families fishing together and Cub Scouts would come around and sell hogies. It was nice to get out and share this experience with my daughter.
I'd say I was satisfied with the size and numbers of fish.
I snuck out with the flyrod later in the afternoon. I picked up one brown in the Loyalhanna DHALO section before it started raining on me.
