Per ryguyfi's suggestion I tried out the main lake at Raccoon State Park today after work (4:45-7:30). Fished off the dock on the far side of the lake. Caught a good amount of small bluegills off the dock, then fished along the bank and got my first bass!! :-D A largemouth as seen in the picture. All were caught with a Hares Ear. Thanks again for the suggestion ryguyfi, I'm definitely going to keep up with this spot throughout my stay in Carnegie.

You are QUITE welcome. It's a BIG lake, so sometimes it can be tough to fish. There's a lot of species in that lake though, so it can be rewarding. I've caught some slab bluegill in there. Try walking the banks and looking for inlets and structure. Get some clousers or bigger streamers if you want to target the bass. If you don't have any, PM me and I'll send you out a few.
Caught some walleye tossing streamers there too.

If you're here by Halloween then get a hold of me. I take the day off to go to Erie for steelhead (pending the fish are there by then) and you're welcome to join.
