Fished evening 6:30 to 8:30 stream was about a foot low and water temp was 64. No much bug activity.. a few spinners here and there and some light mayflies,, Cahill I believe,, I didn't verify. Too fr
Ew to be chasing them around.

Blind fished a 16 light Cahill in the deeper runs and riffles picking up 5 wild browns and a small rainbow about 7 inches. Not sure if that one was wild but the fins were clean and intact.

Nice night.

Figured out attaching file. Picture is not greatest but the pec fins were whole, clean, and nicely formed. They were tangled in net for this shot, so not that noticable. Looking for opinion as to if wild. Anyone catch a wild rainbow in this stream?

I think the rainbow is the most difficult of the three species to identify as wild. So, I'll leave it at that. 🙂 Of the wild rainbows that I've caught, they always had parr marks, for whatever that's worth.

Same. I haven’t caught many, but they all had parr marks.

Sounds like a good couple of hours. I would guess that rainbow was likely wild unless you can find evidence of a fingerling stocking program in the area. I have seen par marks on the fingerlings they stock in a stream close to home.
