Fished this stream 2 days ago, Thursday, and did quite well catching all browns, 1 wild one about 13 inches. I returned today and hoping to get better acquainted with the stream. Conditions were similar, water a bit high but not at all impactful. I didn't get a temp either day.

Thursday the water was definitely cloudier and by today it had cleared up to only a slight tinge. I could see bottom in 2.5 to 3 feet of water.
Both days overcast and "misty" .

Fishing the same section, today was stocked rainbow day. Had a barrel of fun catching 12 inch clone rainbow from 11 o'clock til about 3.

Used a peacock perdigon point fly and a frenchie dropper. Both size 14. No on fly was significantly out producing the other.

Wanted to get some pics of wild browns but they didn't cooperate. Here's a few of the RBs

I missed a few today too. Take was very subtle. At the slightest hesitation, you needed a quick hookset downstream.

Swinging soft hackles usually requires a completely different hookset IMHO
