Finally got a chance to fish Lycoming again. However, I only had about 3 hours; from noon to 3. The water was low sixties and had a couple of fish to the net on pheasant tails, and missed a couple more. Had a friend meet me on the stream for his first time fly fishing. So, I spent about an hour teaching him the basics. I really wanted him to catch a fish, because I thought it would seal the deal and get him hook on fly fishing. I hooked in to a nice wild (not every day you catch a wild on this stream. Matter of fact, I it was probably my forth wild ever on this creek) It was starting to grow an adipose lip and was packed with spots. After letting my friend release it, I caught another wild on my next cast (# 5 I guess). I let him bring this one in so he could get the feel of it. Caught a couple more, but none for him.
However, I is already looking at rods to purchase.
