Fished the delayed harvest around " Powys curve". The stream was clear and the water level was normal for this time of year. Didn't take a temp but felt cold, guessing the recent rains didn't help anything.
It was a dreary rainy afternoon. Saw a few random bugs( sulpher/ marchbrown/caddis)but nothing major. The fish were rising sporadically but I could never figure out exactly what they were taking. Did see a few bwo on the surface so maybe that was it.
I was able to land 2 on a march brown parachute, couldn't resist throwing some type of big bug at them. One was a particularly nice Brookie.
Picked a few others up on stone fly nymphs. Only fished from about 12-3 before the cold got to me, that's a tough area to fish without being up to your waste in water
