Fished from 9:30 to around 12:30. The water was fairly high but clear for the most part. It looked inviting, but when I stepped in it was FREEZING! Don't know the exact temp., I forgot my thermometer at home. Nothing was hatching when I was there.

I saw 4 fish in the lower section, one was a NICE (20+?) palomino. I fished for it for about an hour, but it wasn't taking anything. There were barely any rises, and it looked like most of the fish were feeding close to the bottom.

There were 4 or 5 other guys out, which I wasnt expecting on a Thursday. Nobody seemed to be catching anything.

I was there Friday afternoon. With the warmer temps, the fish were more active. There were a few rising fish and I saw another angler take a nice rainbow on a dry. I fished nymphs with some success. The stream temps were getting up where the fish have more energy. It was a treat fighting fish with a little more spunk in them.
