Tried the DHALO section just below the Rt 711 bridge from late morning until mid-afternoon.

Mostly sunny day but cold air and cold, very clear water.

Saw some little black stoneflys crawling around on the snow edging the creek. Probably about size 16s.

Drifted black buggers and PTNs but didn't see evidence of any fish.

Welcome to the board. There are quite a few active posters from this area. Good to have you.

Turkey welcome to the board.....better luck next time you make it out!

What's that old saying about a day late and a dollar short...You were about a week early...they stock that section next Saturday. Thanks for the report though. Helps me narrow down this weekends plans. Surprised you didn't see anything though. There is usually something in there and it looked really nice the last time I drove past.

Welcome Turkey, and nice nymph collection!

I'm sure there were still a few fish in there, but they can be really sluggish when its that cold.

Just curious...where did you park? Looked like it was still pretty snowed in as of last Sunday...Did they finally plow the parking area or did you park on the road behind?

really sorry it took so long to reply about parking situation. lost my internet access. i parked in a pretty deep snow bank on Nicely Rd...wasn't sure i would get my car out...but im sure that most of that snow is gone now since its been 2 wks.
