the day was a bit sunny and warm in the late morning and early afernoon but any way i couht one rainbow and my grandad caught a smallmouth the day was pretty slow for the most part we both caught them on ants and they were hitting heavaly on a wolly worms (one of my favorits) but i didn't land any on them i misted a buntch. all in all there are still a bunch of fish up there even after the heat. the fishing will be real good if we have a cople of cool days

Was there myself from sun-up to about 11. Caught 8 missed around 12. One was caught on a drake, the rest were on a pheasant tail nymph. Half the ones missed were on the pheasant tail and hares ear nymph. They were real light. Most of the ones missed didn't know they were there. Water is low with hardly any flow. Water temp was 65 when I left.

yeah i probely should have tryed nymphing some small hares ears and other small nymphs but they were hitting my ants and beetles so i didn't stop using them as far as my wooly worms i almost caugt one on that but he got off some how
