Alright, I'll be the first to venture back into the water, figuratively and literally. Meadow isn't the only nice stream in SWPA.
I had a nice morning fishing with JackM. The water was 55 degrees. There were fish rising with some regularity. It wasn't clear what they were rising to. Perhaps midges. We saw a few caddis and a few Mayflies (maybe Red Quill or March Brown). I caught most of my fish on a #12 BHPT. I did get a few on top with a #14 Peacock body Elk Hair Caddis. The fish were often grabbing the drys when we skated them at the end of the drift. I fished from about 7AM to 2PM.
It was a beautiful morning to fish. I'm sure I would have had a good day on the Yough or Dunbar or Meadow or the Loyalhanna, not sure about Indian (gives me fits).
