Trico swarms weren't as good as last weekend but they were still there. Got a few on a #24 trico the week before that had plastic wings, but lost it. Tied my own for this past weekend but used poly-wing material instead. The fish, while interested, didn't take the poly-wing tricos, I'm guessing because they've seen 10 million of them, so they're gotten wise. Landed a few nice browns and one big ole' pig rainbow on a #16 black/green foam beetle.

Monocacy,

Only got to fish this one for 2 hours due to waking up at 1 because of a Saturday night bender (fishing was a good cure for the hangover). Fished upstream of the Illicks Mill Dam, which is Class A waters. The water was very cool, low and clear, and the fish were spooky. landed 3 12" browns sight-casting with 50+ ft casts, anything closer and they bolted. This was my first time fishing here and it was awesome, I really liked this stream.
