I was out Sunday with my 11year old son at Little Sandy near Polk. The stream was recently stocked and their were alot of fish.
The stream was low and clear but my son managed 15 fish. Including a couple of small wild browns. Most Fish caught on beadhead nymphs. Bird of Prey was the killer fly of the day for us. Beautiful day to get out.
Thank you TU Oil Creek Chapter for your amazing resoration work. The stretch by the stone railroad tressel has been totally regraded, seeded riprap and new trees planted. Its going to look amazing in a few years when everything grows in.
