Not really a stream report but just want to let you all know that the damn below the railroad bridge has partially collapsed. About half of the face of the damn has broken off in one big slab and slid into the pool below. There are also a number of cracks in the concrete above so it looks like more of it is going to fall apart. With the way the water is now coming over the damn, it looks like the pool is going to change drastically.

yikes! I'm not walking anywhere near that thing anymore! think I'll stay far upstream ;-)

No i expect the bridge to be there for quite a few more years. What appears to have happened was a a root wad/ dead dtree on the right bank had caused a huge eddy which rotated back toward the right edge of the face of the dam and had been undercutting the structure for quite a few years. The dam finally gave way and broke apart. The whole concrete stucture appears to have been built over top of old timbers. (That eddy used to hold A LOT of fish by the way)
