Fished from 11:40 until 1:30 then returned from 3:30 until 5:30. Air temp was 70-72 degrees with a slight breeze, didn't get a chance to get water temp. An all around great day to be out. Many fisherman out and about due to stocking this past week.

I talked with a few others who seemed to be catching them on sucker spawn and al's rat. I got skunked on my first outing while trying red brassie, al's rat, and prince nymph but did manage to pick up 1 hold over rainbow on a #10 Olive Wooley Bugger on my return trip.

During my early session I watch an older gentleman bring in a nice rainbow followed by a brownie on an Olive Bugger (I left all of mine at home please don't ask I will never do it again!)

If your headed out there tomorrow I recommend parking on Mill Creek Rd and working your way up to the foot bridge very light pressure in that section today.

Glad you got out - I was thinking about you as i was stuck in newark, delaware for that gig.

tsk tsk tsk - never leave your woolybuggers at home lol.

Yeah i was afraid of the crowds this weekend too - hope the weather turns miserable again next weekend so I can have that stretch to myself 🙂

Hi littlelehigh - Stopped down at the upper FFO stretch on Saturday, hoping to catch up with you. Unfortunately, I got there at 2:30. :-(

Had I known you'd have been back, I'd have stuck around. The place was deserted when I got there. We'll get together one of these days.

Ventured out at around 11 today (forgot about the time change). Ran into 3 other guys fishing individually, and stopped to talk to each one. No one caught anything, and all three were headed out. Saw the occasional BWO, and saw a few pretty violent rises in the flat water, but couldn't get any takers on top. Did okay nymphing - 2 on an IPW, 4 on a Humphrey's scud. Made it up to Krick Rd before I packed it in for the day.

Remind me to give you a few of those scuds - they work well on the LL and Spring Creek. 😎
