Little Lehigh - upper C&R FFO section 2/15/2009

Fished the upper FFO section today from around 12-4pm. Water off color...slighly discolored (but not muddy).

Lost one fish on orange sucker spawn. Caught one brown on BH ricks' nymph. I think i could've gotten more fish from where i got the one - but right after releasing him, a family showed up along the stream and their son threw a huge rock into the pool i was fishing. ugh!..oh well....

Well there is a mixed bag of good and bad water there - but right now i see it as a challenge. I was getting lazy fishing near my house too much. So far either there is less fish in this section or I don't know what i'm doing there yet. I would assume the latter.

I can't wait to start seeing some rises. Then it will be more apparent that there is fish in some of these stretches - whether i can catch them or not. When i'm nymphing and can't see the fish - i can't be sure what's going on.

Each time i go, i get a little more familiar with the holes.

Isn't that nice? I'll bet the Fam just laughed at the kid for wrecking your fishing spot.
Many times I've seen families with kids that throw rocks and trash in the water while the parents just smile.
They teach their kids to have no respect for anything except themselves.
