Got to the stream around 5:30 pm. Air temp was somewhere near 75 degrees. No surface activity at that point. Saw some caddis coming off, but nothing major. Brought several fish to hand using a soft hackle pheasant tail. They were also taking walts worms. Around 8:30 sulphurs started coming off real good near the fly shop and the fish were definetly on them. At 9:00 the hatch was at its best, but with the fading light it was tough to track a fly. Its seems you got a small window of oppurtunity to take them on the surface. The stream pressure was pretty light. Only saw about a half dozen other fisherman on the special regs. section.

I went to Allentown today to fish the sulphurs on the LL and had exactly the same experience - no bugs til 8:30, then it was quickly too dark to fish. Bummer.
