My son and I along with a non member here headed back the Upper FFO on the Little Lehigh Sunday afternoon. Arrived around 2:00 and fished for 2 hours. Air temps were high 40's didn't get a chance to check water temps. Again only heard one big rise, while my back was turned to the stream of course.
My son and I came up empty handed in the same hole trowpa fished Sat afternoon (see Heritage-Anglers report for 3/14/09). But my buddy did manage 1 nice rainbow just up stream of the "hole" in slow moving water on a #16 PT. He also lost a larger fish while bringing it out from some underbrush.
All in all another good day! That was his first fish of the year and first on a fly rod in a few years. Now to get him to join our community here.
