With the upcoming summit figured I'd post my report. Water was still quite cold didn't get an exact temp but I do wear fleece pants and neoprenes and don't even sweat HINT, HINT. Fished from 6:30 to 9:30 am. Trico blizzard was in full effect, managed to land one nymphing early and missed a second hook set. Once the spinner fall began about 9 I found one brownie moving back and forth sipping in an 18" space. After several casts with a griffith gnat and only a couple quick looks from the fish I tied on a #24 trico. First cast I got in his lane (not first cast) WHAM fish on! This was my first fish on a trico pattern! I was excited you guys alway talk about most memorable catches I'd have to say this is my #1 to date!

Thanks again for all the tips and advice over the past year everyone! I'm just glad I won't be coming to the Summit a trico virgin!

I wet waded it on sunday and was fine, so I guess everyone has different tolerances. I actually thought it was perfect wet wading conditions, but the last time I wet waded before that was the bighorn, so my cold water tolerance was way up.

Just wanted to point out to those that are going to attend the summit, that the cold water wasn't much of an issue at all IMO.

I wouldn't say that!

I would just say that to those who enjoy wet wading, please consider doing so. If you don't like the cold water, by all means wear the waders. I don't think it has anything to do with being a *****, just personal preference.
