I caught nothing the last time I was out, and managed to do the same today.

A flotilla of 17 Mergansers did not help my cause. These ducks are the worst! They catch/poach more fish in an day than someone can do with a rod/hand line in a month.

I actually got out late this morning - around 10:30am. Fish where still rising, tricos were still in the air, but I couldn't get a fish to hit my pattern. I have been fiddling wth a new female trico pattern and it has not been effective thus far.

I too experienced a flotilla, but of a different kind... I work 2 minutes from the little lehigh and was fishing during lunch. So Im about to fly a fly on when i hear the distinctive sound of kids...lots of them, floating down the river. 20 rafters floated by, i just packed it up an went back to the car, bad luck i guess
