Fished from the coverred bridge up to the Heritage Section today from 1100-1400. Water was about 66 degrees and just a bit off. Very warm, so I was wading wet, and that was nice.
No fish rising, but no surprise for midday, so I nymphed my way upstream.
Caught two rainbow, both around 12 inches. first one on a # 12 rust v-rib caddis w/ a white ostrich herl collar and a black tungsten bead. Other was caught on a #12 gold bead head prince.
Also had a nicer rainbow, around 15 inches on for a while, but he broke me off after some fun(for me, at least). That was on a prince nymph as well.
I stopped fishing when 4 inflatable rafts made their way downstream . First time I've seen that on the LL. Hopefully the last! Reminded me of the tubing activity on the Esopus up in NY.
