Little Lehigh, Lehigh County 4/22/17

Fished the heritage section from 7:30 until about 3. Cloudy day with temps in the 50s and on and off rain. Did not take water temp and it was fairly clear as usual. Did not see any constant rises but every once in a while I would see a few very splashy rises.

I was able to land two trout. The first fish was a 10 inch stocked brook that took a size 18 frenchie and the second was a very nice 13-14 inch wild brown that took a size 20 caddis pupa. Missed about 6 fish more I would say. I took a walk down to the 78 overpass and I found some nice water, but no fish. Does anyone have success at the lower end of the heritage section?

You have to get the photo down to a smaller size file. I use a program called Fotor, which i got off the app store for a few bucks. Its great, but it may only be for Mac.

But either way....a good rule of thumb is keeping the pic smaller than 1020 x1020.

I have tried to catch fish by that overpass...but i haven't succeeded. Its really hard to get close enough to the fish without spooking them. Low, slow, clear water there. I see usually see a few fish there every time i go.
