Fished the FFO for most of the afternoon. Air temps were 44 and breezy. Baetis hatch was quite heavy bugs skittering every where. Few rises though. I did manage to pick up this nice rainbow my largest trout to date on a fly rod on a wet fly which was also a first for me and missed a second on a soft hackle

It's nice to see bugs fluttering about again. Notice how beat up this guy is. I think predatory birds is another reason for less fish.

Was there today as well did quite on the BWO's size 20 on top. It's nice to see some good dry fly fishing again!
 
Nice rod/reel setup. I'll bet it has TONS of good mojo! How's that line working out for you? I really like that stuff.

I gotta tell ya never once did I think this fish was gonna break me off on one of his runs. That rod/reel really protects that tippet!

To bad I laid it down backwards in the picture.
