Fished In and above the heritage section from 11:00AM to about 4:00PM. I didn't catch any fish in either section. The only trout I saw was a giant Golden Rainbow right underneath the highway over pass. I saw a few olives, but not enough to call it a hatch. The water was low and quite clear. I fished various nymphs in all the likely holding water with no takers. The stream looked pretty but barren. Where are all the fish?

No doubt that place got pounded on Sunday! They are hiding until Thursday...

That golden rainbow has been there a long time. I remember seeing him there right below the highway several times this past season. I tried catching him a couple times but he is clever.

The LL has been in a decline for years but recently, last 6-7 yrs it has really gone downhill. The stream needs extensive improvement but I'm not holding my breath for that to happen.

I stopped going there about a year and half ago. It is sad I remember catching some monsters in that creek and now it is a shadow of what it was.

The fish are there but it does get pounded pretty hard. I agree it has definitely been on a decline but I still have found some decent fish in there. Don't be afraid to fish it when the water is high.
