Hit the LL on both days from the Red Covered Bridge down to the entrance of the Parkway.

On 12/31 the air temp was about 35 degrees and the water temp was about 40. Fished from about 10 - 2 and then the wind was just too much to handle. Managed to catch about 15 of the recently stocked rainbows. Fish were caught on BHHE, pheasant tails, and prince nymphs. The guy I was fishing with also picked up a few on white wooly buggers. The stream was finally in decent shape. The water levels were up and the water had just a little bit of color to it. Saw a few bugs in the air, but I did not see a fish feeding at the surface.

On 1/2, the conditions were a little different. Air temps and water temps were about the same, but the stream flow dropped about 20 cfs and the stream was flowing pretty clear. Fished from about 12 - 4 and only picked up 4 today, but I lost around 8. Every fish was a rainbow except for one wild brown around 10" which was hooked down below the entrance to the Parkway. Used the same flies I used in the previous outing. I did see one fish sip something off the surface, but that was it. After he got what he wanted I did not see him again. My buddy did pretty well on the white wooly bugger today.
