Fished a section of the stream down by MLK Dr. which is way below the FFO area. Unfortunately, the recurring thought that came to mind was that this stream is lower right now than I have ever seen it at this time of year.
I landed one rainbow on a BHHE. It was caught in one of the few deep runs in that lower section. There was no surface activity and very few bugs were in the air.
I would guess that the air temp was around 44 and the water temp was roughly 41. The water was extremely clear which always makes this stream a challenge, but with the low water levels it was even tougher.
