Got to the stream around 7am. Air temp was 63 degrees, and overcast. Water was crystal clear despite the slight rain in the morning. Started fishing the catch and release stretch near the I-78 over pass. Picked up a small wild brown, and a small wild rainbow, tried to take a pic of the rainbow, but he escaped. Beautiful little fish though. I caught it by sight nymphing. I had the indicator rigged but i saw a flash in the riffle and set the hook. Also fished above the fish hatchery on Keystone Ave. Lost a nice fish in that area, felt like something of decent size, but never got to see it. I had 4 hookups through the morning, but only landed two. Had to fight tooth and nail for them. Nice fall morning to be out.
