Little Lehigh, Lehigh County, 04/06/12

Fished off of Keystone Road today. Caught 6 trout (4 Brown, 2 Brook, ranging is size from 5-13.5") on size 18 tan caddis emerger. Had to go down to 7x to start getting strikes. None of them looked to be freshly stocked, all had full fins and great color. There were few caddis on the water, air temp was 56 and there was a steady wind. Searching with a dry didn't produce results, you had to find and target the sporadic risers.

I was there on 4/3 and 4/4 and had suprisingly good top action with a foam ant...

They got 2-3 each. We had a very tough day on the Lehigh yesterday. Only managed one each, the wind was brutal. I broke off a very nice one in fast water.
