Fished the FFO section (in the park) of the Little Lehigh from 1-3:30PM. Air temperature was mid 40's, I do not know what the water temp was. The water was slightly discolored due to the snow melt. There was a fair amount of midge activity above the surface of the creek and along the stream bank. Sections of snow streamside were peppered with small, black midges. Despite this activity I did not witness any trout rising to these insects. I managed to catch two rainbows, 12" and 14". One was caught on a size 18 orange glo-bug, the other on a size 16 tan bottom roller.
