I fished it both days this weekend. On Saturday I caught a few on nymphs until I saw a nice fish rise. I tied on a foam beetle and on the 1st cast hooked him. I worked my way upstream and caught about 6 more on the same beetle then had a fish break me off. I had 1 beetle left which I lost to a tree about a half hour later. That was it for my day. I tried every other terrestrial I had in my box but nothing wanted them. I tied up 3 more foam beetle for Sunday. Of course they were still on my table when I got to the stream. Fortunately, my trico were working. I fished to and caught about 6 on the trico. I saw a 5 nice fish rising in a 20 foot section but couldn't get one of them to take my fly.
Both days were great to be on the water.
BTW-I was using a #20 black beadhead nymph to catch the first few on Saturday. Water temp felt like it was in the low to mid 60s. I didn't check it though.
